Well There are several differences . With p/k you have to kill it your self and it can be as simple as whacking them in the head or you can set up a co2 tank . And if tour snake doesn’t eat it then it has gone to waste . With f/t you can refreeze it once again and the freezing process kills any internal parasites that the rodent was carrying , they are cheaper and easier to store and you don’t have to kill them your self . But I have found that most of them that will eat p/k will eat f/t or vice versa .but that is just my opinion . Thanks David of DS Reptile Rescue
