if you were trying to produce sunglows as fast as possible, I would choose the albino as the female because albino is recessive. You would produce double het sunglow babies, you could take a male from the litter and breed it back to the mother the following year, if you fed it right. I wouldn't recommend it though, I would wait until the male is about 2 years old. That would also help the female regain her weight in a healthy amount of time without power feeding.



If you did it the opposite way and had the hypo as a female, you would never produce sunglows from her because she would not carry the albino gene. You would have to have another female that was either albino or het for albino.
