Money shouldn't have anything to do with keeping pets....they are all expensive. If I didn't enjoy my 3 dogs I could sit down and analyze the cost and wonder if they were worth it....Sounds like Boas just weren't meant for you.

Good luck with your African Gray......remember to put it in your will as it might outlive you!!
