Tank Size?

I need opinions on tank size, care sheets to to have different opinions on this. When talking to breeders it seems I get feedback like "oh yeah, a ten gallon tank is plenty big for 2 leos, we keep some of our adults in little tupperware containers and they are fine". But many enthusiastic owners who don't breed will say that a ten gallon tank is only big enough for 1 and if I wanted 2 I would need a twenty gallon tank. What is your opinion?
