Hi Joe, I built all these racks and only took a few hours and 1/2 a 6 pack of beer.
Old Melamine racks:

XPVC rack upgrades:

The white racks with the sterilite tubs are made of Melamine, they hold 28 12qt tubs or 14 28qt tubs or a mixture of the two.
The Black sterilite racks were built using 1/4" XPVC and hold 20 12qt or 10 28qt or a mixture of the two tubs each. That tall rack in the picture is actually two smaller racks stacked together. They hold a total of 40 12qt tubs. They took only a few hours to build and were really easy to put together, if you are a DIY person, this is the way to go IMO. XPVC is also much lighter than Melamine. You can either use 1/4" or 1/2" material and either one is lighter than Melamine.
Good Luck!
