Hi Peter, really nice looking animals, thanks for sharing with us.
I have a "nomenclature" question for the group. Suppose, hypothetically, that a chaos was bred to a jungle, and something resembling a super jungle was produced. Would Peter's mutation then become known as a possibly unrelated yet compatible line of "jungle"? The reason I ask is that it is highly likely that there will be (are) stray, yet recognized, genes running around out there, paricularly in captive bred populations, that will reappear occasionally. Perhaps a low expression jungle gets passed around, forgotten about, etc. and later gets bred and appears to be a "new" genetically aberrant morph, but really isn't. Btw, I am not proposing that the Chaos came to be via this scenario. I've read Peter's doumentation of the origin of the line. The visual similarity between it and jungle only caused the question to pop into my head, no offense to Peter or the Chaos boa intended! The same question would apply to any morph. Btw, who exactly are the "morph police" that decides these things?? lol (just kidding!)
I understand the difference between a "line" and a "morph". So I suppose the question is would the Chaos become a recognized "line" of the already recognized jungle morph instead of a seperately recognized "morph" of its own, if this scenario played out?
Or do I just have too much time on my hands and I am thinking too much...? lol
