I'm glad to hear that he ate for you. He'll probably fill out pretty quickly. Your setup sounds pretty good. A 30gal is pretty big for a hatchling, though, so you may want to give him multiple hides so he'll feel more secure, and if he goes off feed you may need to put him in a smaller tank. Also, how are you measuring your temps? If you can keep them constant at 85-90 on the hot side day and night, that would be fine. He doesn't really need a night drop.
