Help!!! Yesterday when i went to feed my veiled i noticed about a 1" of a 4" part of his dorsal crest lifting up off of his back. It is pink, raw, and wet. It comes from about 1 month ago he went into shedding, when after about 2 weeks, i noticed that someof his skin on his dorsal crest had not come off and had turned black. I immediately turned up the humidity and started using that shed off spray. Day by day the area became smaller and smaller, but it was getting extremely dry. The next thing i know apart of it lifted up. I just got laid off and don't have the money for a vet. I started using an antibiotic on it. Today he only ate 1 worm instead of 4, and has not drank as much as he is use to. I am new to lizards and thought i did my homework, but i never thought about shedding being a problem. Did i use too much shed off? I used it everyother day for about 2 weeks. Help, i am really worried.
