All of my girls dropped their eggs in May and are already back up to their pre-lay weight. If I did have one lay late though, I would still feed her as usual and if she was back up to size by fall, great, and if not, I might just go for a late breeding. I'm sure the more seasoned breeders will chime in for you too!

How do you get the weight back on her between seasons or do you skip a season? I will hopefully be breeding my females this coming season and was just curious? thanks for any input phillip
