Here's the male fine line boa I got from Steve Hammond in 2004. I got them for the thin saddles, I never guessed they would turn out to be this colourful. Steve told me that some people have begun to call them "painted" boas. He said that he thinks that's a better description of them, but it would cause too much confusion if he started to use that name.
This guy did not want his picture taken. He's doing a ball python impression in one pic, and you can look at my hand and see that he's using more aggressive tactics there.
