I believe you are right, as that has been my experience.
The one albino baby I have been raising up from my '03 litter was white with bright orange sadles and tail as a baby. His head has stayed very white/light but he is slowly gaining yellow in his body and the saddles are slowly fading away lighter and ligher orange. THe tail still has some good color. His mom is a '98 Kahl strain, she is bright yellow, you can hardly see the saddles on her, they are basically white and she has minimal oranges in her tail.

Some, depending on the line, pastel, coral, etc, do color up and gain more pinks and reds as they age, so it can be variable. Hope that helps!
