This has been in the works for a while and is another project that isn't without bumps in the road. It is nice to start seeing the results of hard work and lots of patience! This is guy is from my original male perfect stripe Genetic Stripe bred to one of my original female pastels from my first litter in 2001. It pays to go with quality stock and that is why I went with a perfect stripe from Ralph in 2003.

With the Genetic Stripes the quality of the stripe seems to be random, however, from what I've produced I'm running 2/3 perfect stripe and 1/3 broken stripe. The broken stripes are not all that broken, well, atleast not like some of the ones I've seen and still have a good portion of complete stripe.

At any rate I believe this is a perfect stripe Genetic Stripe and the Pastel has slightly messed up the stripe down the back. You will notice that the side pattern is completely patternless and all the broken stripes have banding on the side where the stripe is broken.
