Constantly moist warm substrate will of course serve as a perfect habitat for mold and other nasty decomposers. Scale rot will also become a serious concern. If you are using this practice only during the snakes shedding cycle though you will be fine. If the humidity is so high water is condensing and dripping down the sides of the tub/tank you are using far too much water.
