It will be years until we see clowns, genetic stripes, caramel albinos, and pieds drop to that price. It has take the albinos 15 years to get that low. We simply have not had those morphs around long enough to hit that price.

The reason the albinos are finally hitting that low of a price is because for a few years it was the only morph available. For a long time, if you had a morph, it was an albino, which led to a large number of them being produced.

At this time, more people are working with the dom and co-dom animals because it takes so little time to breed them and produce the visible morph. Therefore, the recessives, besides albino should remain pretty close to their current price for a good long time to come.

By the way, I saw albinos on here the other day for $799. I bought my albino this year for $1250, and that also included a trio of hets. If you look at the price of hets at about $450 a pair and a het male for $50, that left me paying $700 for my albino. I have wanted one for 14 years, and now I should be getting him in the next couple weeks. I can't wait!!!!!
