TRIBUNE DE GENÈVE (Switzerland) 25 July 07 Un python abandonné sur un trottoir à Villeurbanne
Lyon (AFP): Un bébé python long de près d'un mètre a été retrouvé mercredi après-midi dans son vivarium, abandonné sur un trottoir à Villeurbanne (Rhône), a-t-on appris auprès des pompiers.
L'animal, dont la présence a été signalée vers 15H30 par des passants, a été confié à un spécialiste des reptiles par les pompiers, qui ont plus l'habitude de récupérer des chiens ou des chats abandonnés par leurs propriétaires que des serpents.
Le reptile, en bonne santé, a été offert au zoo de Saint-Martin-la-Plaine (Loire), ont précisé les pompiers.
