Pity Party

Stopped by a local pet shop this evening, and I was surprised to see a pretty BRB (as well as some nice boa constrictors) in the reptile section. I just stared at it for about 10 minutes, feeling sorry for myself. Why? Well, I made a deal with my wife (who is perfect in every way except that she, to put it mildly, does not share my passion for snakes) where I could get another one (had a BC and a BRB about 10 years ago)... once one of our other family pets kicks the bucket. Right now we have 1 St. Bernard, 1 cat and 1 friendly rat. Mickey the rat probably has a good 3-6 months left, while the dog and cat are only middle aged. Since I really like Mickey, the thought of slipping him a mickey in the middle of the night only briefly crossed my mind. So I'm stuck for now. Ok, I feel better for unloading that off my chest Oh, btw, if anyone feels sorry enough for me to send me an anery BRB, let me know. Seriously, I hope I can share some of my own pics soon.
