OTHER ANIMALS IN THE HOUSE...

Is it not a good idea to have a Purple Albino retic when you have a dog downstairs and two cockatiels in the next room? This is not a question of responsibility. I've heard that retics can sense mice/rats in the air if thawing out or feeding other snakes in the house and I was wondering if it would be a problem simply having other animals in the house? Sorry if this is a stupid question...in case you didn't read my other post, I JUST got a 2 week old Purple Albino and I'm in the NEED TO KNOW mode before things get out of hand! We have 11 corn snakes...just never had any pythons or boas before. I got suckered in by her beauty...knowing full well how big she'll get!
