I just recently agreed to "foster" two baby boas, one male and one female. I have concerns if I keep them for any length of time because I have a 3 and 1 yr old boys at home. In four years, I could concievably have quite large boas (I have no locality or subspecies data) and boys old enough to get themselves in trouble (do what they are not suppose to when no one is immediately around) and snakes large enough to do damage. Are my fears overrated? How have other people with boids and children managed?
