100% means that both parents carried the Albino gene and although the baby didnt get Albino alleles from both parents to make it a visual morph, it would have to have gotten a least one, which means it carries the gene for Albinoism.
I still get confused when I try and explain it. It is because Albino is a recessive trait, both parents have to have the gene.
With a 50%, it means either that one or both parents were hets, and this means that the baby wasnt neccesarily given an allele for albinoism. It could have been given a normal gene from both parents, making it a normal? Although, in reality they are edither 100% or 0%, it is just a way of expressing the odds by saying they are 50%.
Easy huh?
