Shedding

I have been regularly feeding my ball 2 fuzzy mice every 5 days, but I noticed today that his eyes and skin are cloudy (meaning he is near a shed correct?). So my question is...because I have heard to leave them alone during the 7-10 days of shed, should I continue on the same feeding shedule, or hold off until he is done?
