To breed or not to breed

I'm a new owner of my red tail. I've had her for about 6mos and am considering breeding her. This is the second snake I've ever owned, the first being a garder snake in second grade. Any websites, books, or other suggestions are more than welcome. The last thing I want to do is hurt her or make a fatal mistake with her first clutch.
