It sounds as if he's bored. After spending months eating the same couple of feeders he's lost interest. Can't blame him. You need to look into other insects such as hornworms (cultivated, not gathered off tomato plants), silkworms, roaches, and flying insects that you can keep in the cage. Also, changing your gutload will change the taste of the feeders a bit. Having a few flying insects in the cage will give him something to hunt and often sparks new interest.
