Just putting a "new" feeder in there might not trigger a hunting response right away if not. The spider may just find a hiding spot in the cage. If you confine the spider in a large feeding bin so it stays visible and moving around for a while that may help. Most chams do love spiders once they recognize that it's food. But if you have so much trouble handling spiders I don't think it is worth it. [ Hide Replies ]
