Color is affected by hormones which affect the whole body, not just one part at a time. What happens when you show him a mirror image of himself? Sometimes a male who doesn't have reasons to assert himself doesn't show adult color until he's older. If he's a mellow cham he may have the ability to flare into adult display at this age, but there hasn't been a big reason to do so. I sometimes think the ability to flare into a major adult display needs "practice". See what happens when he sees his reflection. I mean a short event...not leaving his image visible all the time. | ||
