Being from a family who manages rental apts. I can tell you that once a year is not true. In fact, there is no limit. Although if there were entering a lot you could try to claim harassment, however, at the end of the day they own the property. Now, this is VA that I am speaking of, and there could be other states with limiting laws.
I have found that looking for pets allowed apts. or places where you can ask about aquarium pets. Keep in mind whatever you do that with the phobias people have, if word gets out, the owners are more likely to kick out the one "problem" rather then have other renters leave. Also, I experienced a change in policy in one year from any non-dog pet allowed, to "NO PETS" and had to find a secondary location for my animals for one year. ----- 1.0 100% het albino ball python
