well i mine never balls up he just lay around himself. like coiled up, i think its ok if they dont ball up becuase they only ball up when they are scared so if he is balling up i think thats good. i dont know about the mouse i think you can just refreeze it but only once. and about feeding it to the mouse i think that as longa the snake doesnt bite it or touch it in anyway you could feed it to a lizard just rinse it off again.
