RE: Normal breeding produces oddball

Mike, its a halloween pueblan. They pop out here and there out of any kinds of adults. Same is true with the oreo's.

In 94 I produced the first halloweens and oreos and named them as well.

In 97 I bred to sibling halloweens together and produced all normals. I held back everything that was produced from halloweens and there parents and in (00) I had well over 100 animals breeding from all kinds of halloween combos etc...

Well, long story short I think I produced about 8 Halloweens that year when I was thinking I would produce 30-40.



LOL.. its not a simple recessive gene like amel,hypo etc......



You never know what you will get and its more of a novolity than anything.
