My 6 cages are plugged into one surge protector and that is plugged into my Herpstat. There are no issues as the surge device works to protect against spikes in the power not dips.





Also, the flexwatt used in the cages takes so little power that it is no problem using extention cords (even into other extention cords). Thus, behind my cages, tanks and racks it looks like a huge mess of wires plugged into just three outlets, but in total everything is less than a couple of hundred watts (a hair dryer is 1600 to 1800 for reference).
