If the animal was "stiff" as you described,it could have been stress related do to chemicals from cleaning,extreme temps or just spooked by sudden contact(being pick-up)
What are your actual in cage conditions ? High Temp/Humidity....
Dehydration from constant low humidity levels(common with overhead light/heat sources) can cause stress sensitivity.

Im just guessing,but its better then your post going unanswered.




>>the tank was cleaned before putting him in and when i did put him in i had a heat lamp so it wasnt cold. he didnt eat last week i thought it was because he was sheding but he shed out and refused the meal again friday i left him alone in his regular encloser and now today he looks fine. should i try and feed him today or should i wait till the next feeding?
