I have quite a few garter snakes in my backyard for some reason. Maybe they know it's a snake-friendly zone. Anyway, last week I was mowing the lawn and I almost hit one. I moved it out of the way. Not 2 minutes later, I almost hit another one. It looked so cool, I had to catch it and take a picture.



It's like a lavender phase or something. I was way tempted to keep it just to see what the thing looked like when it grew up. I set it up in a little cage overnight. But you know what... I just have too damm many snakes So I let it go back in the yard.



I'm a big garter snake fan anyway. But this thing was really really pretty.
