What is a rosey corn? "old school name"

I was looking through an old field guide. So old that the corn snake was a red rat snake. It also had a "rosey corn snake" Same as the corn but less black. No info on locale.



Any older folks remember this and what is it considered in todays terms? I'm presuming a locale of the corn. But is was it?
