the female pictured in my post below once struck at the plastic of her cage out of a feeding response. Her mouth stuck in a strange position for longer than I thought it should have been in a way that sounds like what you’re describing.

After a few days (I think) I decided to check it out. I gently got her neck in one hand and pulled the bottom jaw (which was out of line) down. Apparently, she DID somehow hook part of the inside of her lower lip over her bottom teeth which was preventing her from properly closing her mouth. I gently pushed the skin back over the teeth and her mouth righted itself immediately.

IF this happens (it may correct itself naturally-I agree with the others who have responded and would give it a few days):

I'd recommend doing this with another person experienced with snakes if she’s a big snake.

Afterwards, I would also get some Colgate Peroxyl and spray it in her mouth once or twice a day. Pry her mouth open, spray it (especially anywhere you can see blood or wounds), let it sit one minute and then rinse with water. This is to prevent any puncture wounds made from the teeth from becoming infected.

Again, I'd only do this AFTER giving her a few days to correct itself. I hope it clears up on its own.
