Color, Morphs/lines, Breeder reputation (you pay for this). Time of year (has that breeder sold two other clutches already for 120-275 and is looking just to get rid of, or free up room. Are you at a show or buying through the classifieds (shows you can get some great deals/and you can pay a lot more for a certain dragon. I got two of my best dragons from both sides of the scale. Foster my large male orange dragon Redflame X red Sandfire was just under 70. Candy my high color female Red/orange X Snow was close to 275 at a show. She was bright and was very different right from the start. I got both from the same breeder Chris Allen at two different times. Once in a mall parking lot and once at a show. So I figure both together cost me under 330. I think I did very, very well. He also is very reputable, and extremely helpful. So much so I went back this year for my red X red. All different lines and beautiful. Heres a pic of Candy the smaller brighter one and Foster the big block head | ||
