Orange Tail Hypos? Dr. David Hardy was the originator of these animals. He started producing them in about 1987 or so. The Hypos were sold as "Orange Tails" though they were not identified as Hypos until Jeff Gee did so in about 1994 - .

I personally have produced only five litters from the Salmon bloodline animals. One of the litters of Scarlet Hypos we produced came from a Salmon F2 male bred to a superior Jim Peters Bloodline Pastel female.

I have had many other litters of Hypos produced which have all been "Orange Tail" bloodline Hypos. I purchased my Orange Tail Hypos from Marcia Lincoln who purchased them directly From Dr. Hardy himself. Here are a few of the Hypos I have made from these Orange Tail Hypo bloodlines.

The Monster Tail Hypos. All the Monster Tail Hypos are from the Orange Tail Bloodline:

Here is an F3 Orange Tail Monster Tail Hypo Jungle produced here in 2006.

Here is an F4 Orange Tail Monster Tail Hypo produced here in 2005.

Here is an F3 Orange Tail Monster Tail Nova Boa produced here in 2006.

Here is an F2 Orange Tail Monster Tail Hypo female produced here in 2000.

Here is one of her babies which is an F3 Orange Tail Monster Tail Hypo male produced here in 2005:

Here is an F3 Orange Tail Monster Tail Hypo Jungle produced here in 2007.

Here is an F3 Orange Tail Hypo produced here in 2006.

This is the original Pearlescent Hypo Boa. He is an F2 Orange Tail Hypo and was a welcomed surprise born here in 2000.

We actually bred him to the original Monster Tail female and she produced half a litter of Pearlescent Boas in 2003. This is an F3 Orange Tail Pearlescent Hypo.

We produced an F4 litter of Orange Tail Hypo Pearlescent Boas in 2006. Here you see some of the babies in two drawers. The Pearlescents in the top drawer and the non-Pearlescent Hypos in the lower drawer:

Sometimes people forget that the non-Hypos produced from these Hypos are "Orange Tail" bloodline animals as well. Here is a non-Hypo F3 Orange Tail Pearlescent Boa born here in 2003:

This is another non-Hypo "Orange Tail" Monster Tail bloodline animal:

One last "Orange Tail" non-Hypo bloodline animal. This one is a F4 Monster Tail Pastel. The father is a Monster Tail Hypo while the mother is probably the best Pastel Dream animal I have ever produced. He was born here in 2005:

I have babbled on long enough and engaged in enough S.S.P. to gag a maggot. So I leave you with probably... maybe... could be my favorite Boa in the place. This is another F4 Orange Tail Hypo Pearlescent Boa born here in 2006:

Do you think I have him big enough to try to breed this season? ... could be.
