Having used, and currently using, many different cage companies; Neodesha, Boaphile, Proline, BARRs, and Animal Plastics, I can say that my favorite are AP.
The strength and durability of an AP can not be beat. Unless they changed over to 1/2" HDPE (though that would create sealing issues with modular designs).
Much stronger than any of the other above companies, and in my opinion the white sliding glass cages look the nicest as well (provided they are kept spotless).
The panels are slotted by a CNC router and fit perfectly, then are screwed together. You then use a silicone based sealant to seal the seems. That's how aquariums are sealed. But with aquariums it is just glass with silicone, the AP plastic overlaps and fits together then it is sealed with silicone. I'm sure using a substrate like aspen and keeping large boids in them it would be best to re-seal them maybe once a year. I got mine this summer so I haven't had it in use long enough to know. The key is to seal it properly and you're set! ----- http://www.GilbertBoas.com/
