Hello everyone. I apologize in advance this is going to be a long post but I just want to get all the facts straight before I get my new JCP, hopefully tomorrow

Right now I've got the cage set up with plenty of branches to climb. I have one set up under the heating lamp and one on the opposite side, to give it a choice as to what temp it wants to be. I have a water dish large enough to soak in, do they soak? I know most boas do but I don't know about JCPs. I have a hide on each side of the cage, one in the warm side and on in the cooler side like the branches so the snake can choose its own temperature. The hide on the warm side is filled with slightly moist moss to create a humid area to hide if the snake likes. I can maintain the temperature around 85-90, is this high? I've found lots of different temps suggested online any where from 80-92 :/ What do you use?

Any other suggestions you can give me would be great. Anything I missed just let me know I want my new JCP to have the best possible home.

Thank you,

Tim
