electrical questions part 2: timers and power strips

running 6 times (2 cages x 1 day 1 night 1 uvb) from one power outlet is a wee bit difficult...is it possible to put a power strip on the timer (wall then timer then strip then lights), or would this overload the outlet and be a fire hazard? any other ideas?

(i use the night bulb because we tend to turn the a/c up quite high at night, althoguh i guess its not realllllly necessary. but even 4 timers, just being as bulky as they are, is a pain)
