Would like to breed my veileds. Help

I have a 2 year old female and a little over a year old male. I would like to breed them eventually. What do I need to look for in the female to know that she is ready? IS there anything special that I should do for her to help get her ready?



I think my only problem may be the cages. She is in the larger cage. About 5 ft tall 2 ft wide a 3 ft deep.

Should I move him in with her or vise versa.
