I think what happens is that slugs are difficult to deliver and the snake breaks membranes on the live babies while struggling to deliver the slugs and the good babies drown. If I was you I would stay away from her cage and make sure it is dark there and hope she gets the rest of the litter delivered as soon as possible. The natural human reaction is to try to help but I think our efforts can distract the snake and cause further unwanted delay in laying the babies. | ||
