Good post. It should also be noted that not only should you worry about feeding days, but also the possibility of transmitting zoonotic diseases from one boa to the other via sharing water or being exposed to any poop, urine, urates, etc. especially if one boa happens to get/be sick for any reason (ie mites, URI, parasites, IBD, etc). It's always a possibility, nothing is certain even if it appears to be pretty safe. Always heir on the side of safety and keep them in separate cages. One last thing I'll mention is it can sometimes be difficult to make sure both are pooping as you may not know who is defecating as long as one is. Just some food for thought.
Not trying to make this a huge paranoid issue, but when housing and taking care of animals, especially ones that are solitary by nature, it's always best to keep them that way for all of these listed reasons. Just makes your life and theirs a lot easier (and safer overall for them).

I agree that the ONLY time they should be housed together is for breeding purposes and yes, knowing that most of our boas come from a plethora of different breeders, pet shops, shows, etc even that CAN be a risk. Just have to be careful, quarantine all new animals and make sure everyone is healthy before attempting to breed and you'll do fine.
