UVB would be going throught the open weave areas, reptariums are made with mesh and people raising beardies and chameleon's in them don't report problems.



You could only use the screen top when they have their pellets and tell them to eat faster!!



Other thought, you know that fruit flies are safe for beardies to eat? ewwwww, sprinkles!
