After a couple years of having no luck breeding my boas finally all are breeding. I've been wondering what the heck I've been doing wrong. After doing some reading and talking to people I decided to try something.

I brought all my boas inside the house for about a month. The temps in the house run 79-80 all day. I figured maybe I could try to "cool" them this way so I added no artificial heat source.

I finally moved the boas back out in the garage. I'm in Florida so it's still fairly warm out. So no heat source has been turned on. I added a timer on all the lights in the garage so they come on and off at the same time every day. Usually the light go on at 7 am and turn off at 6 pm. This past week all my boas are breeding. I've got a pair of hypos, a DH sunglow X albino and a huge light female X a nice red pastel.

Is this just luck or what?

Frank
