No need for preaching or panick attacks !

Just flush the wound with peroxide or bentadine solution and keep the wound covered in Neosporine/Triple A until its healed.

Keeping the cage extra clean will prevent any infections from gaining a foot in the wound.

Affording a Vet visit will only incure costs.

You'll likely have learned the lesson from this already.
