Sure these are great to add variety to the diet. Only thing is these are much higher in fat then crix so should only be used as a treat, and not every day either. Beardies love them and will give up on the crix just to get some worms later. They know you won't starve them. Yeah, like beardie crack to them, lol. Good idea is to check out www.reptilefood.com or another place that farms bugs. If your going to the pet store for bugs your paying way to much money. It's a great idea to buy in bulk from one of the bug farms. You'll save a lot of money, can get a wide variety of feeder insects, and a lot more to keep your dragon full Even if you only have one beardie read how to care for the crix and buy a thousand for 10 bucks plus shipping. Or a thousand mealworms for 5 bucks. Only thing with mealworms is the hard outer shell. These can cause an impaction if fed to much too a young dragon. Super worms are great for adult dragons. Only thing with the worms is can't feed them every day or your beardie will only eat them, and crix are the most nutritious for them especially when you gutload them, and dust with calcium and vitamins. Very important to dust the insects daily with calcium with D3, and give a multivitamin once a week ----- Mystical Dragons
