silkworms make great treats for leos and i dont think they are addictive. the problem with silkworms is that they only eat one kind of food, mulberry leaves, and need to be kept at warmer temps (which is no problem in the summer, but in the winter it is). i dont think they can compare to a well gutloaded mealworm or cricket but they definitly make a great treat.
