with TnK about the size of the rodents to feed. Personally, I even start my babies on rat pinks rather than mice in any form, because once they are on mice, it can sometimes be troublesome to switch to rats, which everyone will have to do. I got my first boa and swore she would only eat mice (since I love rats) at 5 mice a meal, I realized I was a fool and all the info I'd read was correct. I now have 35 snakes and a couple hundred rats that I breed and euthanize myself; and a few rabbits.
IMO You are right to switch up to rats the size of the biggest part of your snake's midsection! Good luck!
