Though it is starting to understand that I mean food, and has eased up a bit. I understand the fact he'll never be "tame", but hopefully easier to interact with, in time. I tried keeping some of the Indo monitors, but at the time they were way over my head. However, as I have progressed in my herp keeping career, I'm starting to understand more about the biology and interworkings of these animals ( and other 4 legged scaled critters ) and this guy really has me smitten in terms of interaction and general BS of the like. It really does seem that these things have a brain, and actually use it in terms I can understand. Put it this way, I could watch this guy for some time and be enthralled. I would wind up having to hang myself with my shoelaces if the interaction were like a Ball Python or something similair. [ Hide Replies ]
