hard at all to do it on paper or even in your head.
Take each morph seperately and figure out the odds for each phenotype. Then simply multiply together to get the overall odds for a specific combination of phenotypes. Very usefull if you only want to know the odds for a couple outcomes in a complicated pairing. For example, a DH snow to a triple het moonglow, what are the odds of getting snow or moonglow babies
Albino - Het x het (recessive) = 1/4 albino, 3/4 66% het albino Anery - Het x het (recessive) = 1/4 anery, 3/4 66% het anery Hypo - Het x normal (dominant) = 1/2 hypo, 1/2 normal
Moonglow = Hypo x albino x anery = 1/2 x 1/4 x 1/4 = 1/32 Snow = normal x albino x anery = 1/2 x 1/4 x 1/4 = 1/32
And for any other visual combo the process works the same. simply multiply the individual components together...
A visual sunglow from this pairing would be Hypo x albino x 66% het anery = 1/2 x 1/4 x 3/4 = 3/32
A normal looking baby would be Normal(hypo) x 66% het albino x 66% het anery = 1/2 x 3/4 x 3/4 = 9/32
Using just a bit of logic, you can extrapolate your results into
Moonglow = 1/32 Snow = 1/32 Sunglow (66% het anery) = 3/32 Ghost (66% het albino) = 3/32 Albino (66% het anery) = 3/32 Anery (66% het albino) = 3/32 hypo (66% het albino and 66% het anery) = 9/32 normal (66% het albino and 66% het anery) = 9/32
Wow, total is 32/32 ----- Thanks,
