no one in the aquatic frog forum is responding. If anyone knows about fire belly toads, or just frogs/toads in general, I could use some help.  I have 2 fire belly toads in a 10 gallon aquarium and there is brown algea all over it! There are about 4 gallons of water in the tank and a large rock as their basking platform/the land part of the tank. I also have a few plastic plants in there. I keep an aquarium heater set on 80F in the water and a 75 watt reptile light fixture over one end of the rock. I have a bunch of 10-20 gallon aquarium filters for fish tanks but none of them will work in an aquarium with that low of a water level. i also know that you cannot put in any kind of algea eating fish in the aquarium because of the toxins these toads release. I change all of the water probably once a week and scrape all of the algea off every time i change the water but it still comes back! can i put any kind of algea killer product that is meant for fish tanks in there? or is that potentially fatal to toads? also is there any way to keep moss from molding in the cage? it looks so pretty in there and they love to hide in it but it starts to decompose after about 24 hours! thanks for the help!
oh by the way, I have found homes for some of the baby dragons. plus the lady wants to raise them herself so I don't have to buy so many crickets! yay!
