I go very simple, I use regular heat pads on the bottom the 5 to ten gallon size then i use a layer of paper towels covered with some aspen mulch, small water bowl 2 hides in each tank, i use one paper towel roll and then a plastic hide, the bps love the paper towel roll. If you keep it all simple then it is easiest to clean. The temp controllers you can buy and plug into work well i forget what kind i use. I go to university of Massachusetts for criminal justice. let me know how it works out. any more questions just ask
